Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Java Architect with strong backend expertise in both Java and Python to lead enterprise-scale design and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 14+ years of IT experience with proven leadership and architecture skills, capable of designing scalable systems, guiding development teams, and driving end-to-end solution delivery. This role requires hands-on technical depth, architectural vision, and the ability to align technology with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

✦ Lead the design and development of large-scale, distributed backend systems using Java and Python.
✦ Define architecture frameworks, coding standards, and best practices for development teams.
✦ Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
✦ Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams across projects.
✦ Ensure high standards of performance, scalability, reliability, and security in all solutions.
✦ Collaborate with DevOps teams to define CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment strategies, and monitoring.
✦ Review design documents, conduct code reviews, and drive quality assurance across deliverables.
✦ Lead migration, modernization, and integration initiatives with enterprise systems.
✦ Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
✦ Act as a key decision-maker in technology selection, architecture roadmaps, and project governance.

Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
✔ 14+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in a Lead/Architect role.
✔ Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture.
✔ Hands-on experience with Python backend frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI).
✔ Proficiency in REST APIs, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and event-driven architecture.
✔ Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
✔ Experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
✔ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.
✔ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills with excellent communication.
✔ Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise solutions.
