Job Description

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for providing strategic technical leadership, architectural direction, and hands-on guidance across multiple development and integration projects. This role requires deep expertise in cloud-based architectures, DevOps collaboration, and full-stack development with modern technologies. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, drive innovation, ensure system scalability and security, and align technology solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Solution Design

• Define and communicate the technical vision for applications and integrations across projects.

• Review and validate architecture, code, and deployment strategies for scalability, reliability, and security.

• Provide direction to developers and DevOps engineers to ensure cohesive delivery.

• Translate business requirements into modular, cloud-ready architecture using modern technologies.

• Guide technical teams, fostering best practices in design, documentation, and coding standards.

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Collaboration

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure including EKS, EC2, VPCs, IAM, ALBs, and CloudWatch.

• Review and manage YAML configurations across GitHub Actions, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests to ensure consistent deployment standards.

• Define and refine CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.

• Ensure secure configuration and management of cloud resources using AWS Secrets Manager, Config Maps, and Ingress rules.

• Maintain architectural awareness of Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and JSP-based systems for interoperability and migration planning.

• Promote best practices in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

Authentication, Security & Integrations

• Oversee authentication and authorization solutions using Okta SAML 2.0 and Keycloak.

• Coordinate with integration teams using Boomi or similar middleware platforms to streamline data exchange.

• Ensure compliance with organizational and security standards across APIs and deployment pipelines.

• Provide architectural direction for secrets management, token-based authentication, and encryption strategies.

Project Oversight & Collaboration

• Lead cross-functional teams spanning frontend, backend, integration, and infrastructure domains.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to align deliverables with strategic objectives.

• Participate in sprint planning, architectural reviews, and post-deployment retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.

• Identify and address technical debt and areas for improvement to enhance maintainability and performance.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, software development methodologies, and industry best practices.

Technology Stack Oversight

• Frontend: Angular v17, Angular Material, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS, SASS, Micro Frontends.

• Backend: NestJS v10, TypeORM, REST APIs.

• Database: PostgreSQL, Oracle SQL.

• Testing: Jest (frontend and backend unit testing).

• Integration: Dell Boomi, MuleSoft.

• Containerization: Docker Engine, Docker Compose, Docker Registry.

• Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

• Languages: Java 17+, Python.

• AI/ML: Machine Learning, NLP, Deep Learning, LLMs

Required Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in modern software development and architecture.

• Proven experience leading technical teams in full lifecycle application development.

• Strong expertise in cloud architectures (AWS preferred) and containerized environments.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps tools.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, NestJS).

• Knowledge of database administration, system architecture, and network design.

• Experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
