Job Description

We are seeking an experienced GCP Solution Architect to design, develop, and modernize cloud-based systems for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud architecture, application development, microservices, and DevSecOps. This role requires strong analytical thinking, the ability to architect scalable and secure systems, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The architect will partner with Engineering and SRE teams to enhance system resiliency, optimize performance, and deliver cloud-native solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable, secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance to ensure uptime and reliability
• Collaborate with Engineering and SRE teams to investigate outages and implement long-term fixes
• Apply microservices best practices, event-driven architecture, and design patterns
• Utilize immutable data patterns such as CQRS
• Drive and support CI/CD processes, automation, and DevSecOps practices
• Provide cross-functional technical expertise across systems, networking, databases, and security
• Work with development teams using Java, Go, AngularJS, JavaScript, and Node.js
• Present technical solutions to stakeholders and provide architectural guidance
• Align solutions with business goals and ensure ongoing optimization and support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field; equivalent experience accepted
• 7–10 years of experience developing and architecting cloud-based applications
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms—preferably GCP
• Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Go, AngularJS, JavaScript, Node.js
• Deep cross-functional knowledge of systems, networking, security, storage, and databases
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps, security best practices, and compliance frameworks
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and scalable system design
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native tools
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Cloud Certification (GCP/AWS) strongly preferred
• Ability to advise teams on technology solutions that support business goals
• Experience presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
