Job Description

We are seeking a skilled UI Tester with strong experience in healthcare domain testing, particularly in Medicaid/Medicare Claims Processing and Management Information Systems (MMIS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in both manual and automation testing with hands-on skills in Selenium, API testing, SQL, and test management tools. This role requires someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of ensuring the accuracy, usability, and security compliance of healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

➤ Perform end-to-end testing for Medicaid and Medicare claims processing and MMIS, ensuring accuracy, usability, compatibility, accessibility, and security compliance.
➤ Analyze business and technical requirements to design test strategies that cover both manual and automated approaches.
➤ Develop and execute manual test cases for workflows, user interactions, and data validations.
➤ Conduct data migration testing using SQL queries and backend database checks.
➤ Perform API and web services testing with SOAP UI and Postman for SOAP and REST integrations.
➤ Design and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks using Java, TestNG/JUnit, and Page Object Model (POM).
➤ Create reusable and modular automation scripts, implement parallel execution, and integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
➤ Carry out cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure application consistency.
➤ Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts on acceptance criteria, test data, and test outcomes.
➤ Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and Microfocus ALM/Quality Center for test planning, execution, and defect management.
➤ Identify defects, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive timely resolutions.
➤ Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility guidelines and healthcare security standards.
➤ Mentor QA team members by sharing best practices in manual and automation testing.
➤ Prepare test summary reports and quality metrics for stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

✓ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
✓ Strong experience in UI testing for healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid, Medicare, or MMIS.
✓ Proficiency in manual testing, test case design, and defect management.
✓ Expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG/JUnit, and Page Object Model.
✓ Experience with API testing tools such as SOAP UI and Postman.
✓ Solid SQL knowledge for data validation and migration testing.
✓ Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA and ALM/Quality Center.
✓ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and parallel execution.
✓ Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and healthcare compliance.
✓ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
✓ Ability to lead and mentor QA team members while promoting testing best practices.
